Does seem to be a ticking time bomb as loads of people have reported this in the last 10 or so pages of this thread now. Wonder if the lte model has the same problem.

I've only had mine a couple of months but I had thought the same to be honest. Would be nice to find an official explanation for the fault though, before making any rash decision, cause i really like the S3.

My wifes S3 was from around launch time if I remember correctly, and I sold that to someone at work! I may give them an advance warning so they are not too worried if/when it dies

Doubt it, iirc Kona has the lte model and he's waay too lucky to get this kind of hassle.

Cheaper at either at phones4u or handtec !
