***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

I don't know what Samsung called the kernel, but as long as you're using XXELLA than you should have the updated kernel!

Anyone this isn't running stock, just grab one of the latest custom kernels as they've all included the fix by now.

Cheers mate, only reason I asked is because my phone was playing up yesterday although I'm on XXELLA which is supposed to have the fix, so was curious as to whether another update was available for the sudden death issue. Having said that, haven't had any of the problems since yesterday, fingers crossed!

No major changes that I can see ...the JKay version has been updated to the newer JKay framework - other than that, there is a bug in the new version where the sound toggles on the power menu (JKay version) aren't themed... frustrating, but I don't use anything in the power menu except the power buttons :)

Here's the changelog:
14.01.2013. - v1.6
- themed flashbarsecvice
- themed twiz launcher
- themed job manager
- themed download ui
- updated to the lates JKAY 14.7.4
- chose AOSP/stock lockscreen from settings
- themed a lot of icons from twiz
- new camera icon
- various changes
- redesigned some of the icons
- fixes/improvements
- changes in framework
SOUL BOUND v2.4
- support for Android 4.1.2
- AOSP 4.2 launcher
- new Fancy and Dark Side icons
- stock JB icons pack
- minor fixes

I'd maybe wait for v35. The last few posts on the thread have reported a bug with the notification tray.

I'm on v32 and it's been excellent :)

Well are you going to flash an MIUI rom direct from MIUI.com? Probably not unless you enjoy Chinese. So you'll likely get a translated version from MIUI.us (Jimbo's build which I linked to)..

They're not officially miui either? Just a UK fan site, who happen to build on tthe Samsung base.

There's versions based on both then. Still no need for the roll eyes!

They translate. Miui from the official site does come in English on their rom too but it's broken English which these guys sort. Do you really think the can build 20 Roms and release them the same day miui China do?
