Was that a standard (non-LTE) S3? I was under the impression you couldn't hit those speeds without DC-HSPC? If that's a normal S3 my mind's made up...What network was that on?
non dc-hspa max is 21Mbps - so could have not been on the stock S3.

Well I'd like to thank you all for enduring my various questions the last few days. For what it's worth it wasn't hot air... I picked up a spanking new S3 LTE tonight for £300 still sealed and BNIB. It was an unwanted upgrade (the guy had an iPhone 5 and wanted cash to pay off his contract). I even got the original ee receipt for warranty purposes.I'm in love with the thing, but need to get my sim chomped down to micro size tomorrow to play properly.... Not sure I'll even sleep haha

Can anyone recommend an alternative ROM to Cyanogen, I am finding it to be really buggy.
