folks using Temaseks builds

what does he offer over CM nightlies?

and if i flash his rom do i need to flash his kernel seperately?

+1 on the above.

I'm thinking about trying out 10.1 for a bit... should I go 10.1 nightly first and try out Yank555s kernel or go straight for Temaseks version?

He just builds from CM source and merges some of his own stuff.

Here's a link to the most recent changelog

May as well go for Temaseks version first, it's effectively the same as the CM10.1 nightly that he's up to date with plus the extra things he's added.

His kernel gave good battery life for me, it's a modified CM kernel with extra stuff added like the sudden death fix. Go for Yank555s if you want a volume boost and some more in depth settings :)

Just updated to the latest Wanam and it's pretty nice. Multi windows control works perfectly, so lovely!

Just updated to LLC and noticed 'Hardware Version' in about. Cant find any info on it

Has anyone used the AOSP ROM for Fayaab? Super Nexus 2.0.

I'm running it and it is so pure, but there are a couple of bugs, can anyone advise or fixes?

Chrome - tapping to enter data in text fields (e.g. logins) FC's Chrome
Camera 4.2 - the camera driver crashes intermittently, only fixed with reboots

Other than that it's a superb clean rom.

Has anyone used Jelly Bam? What's the fascination with CM? I feel their ROMs are actually quite ugly, or is it just me?

Super Nexus 2.0

Are there any other AOSP i9300 ROMs?

I've been thinking whether it's actually worth the LTE for the extra (dc-hspa) speeds. I can buy a new sim free S3 cash today or else an N4 but I'd prefer an S3... Can anyone kindly let me know what real world hspa+ speeds they're seeing with a standard S3 on Three or T-Mobile/Virgin to help me decide? Thanks :)

In North London I got 25mbps yesterday. I see a lot of people clocking over 20 meg. You get fairly regular up speeds, I think it only applies to down.

Was that a standard (non-LTE) S3? I was under the impression you couldn't hit those speeds without DC-HSPC? If that's a normal S3 my mind's made up... :D What network was that on?
