They are. Let's hope it's out by Sept as 4.1.2 is rather long in the tooth.

I have just bought a spring loaded one of the bay. Basically it's like a large bulldog clip. it opens up to 9cm, so you can use it with most phones and a phone with a cover on.
I have a rock case on my s3 which broke my first car mount.
It only cost £6 and I'm impressed with it.

So far 2 out of 2 s3's have needed to be replaced. Let's see if the 3rd time is a charm!

I have been using the LiteGX kernel on my S3 for the past week and it is amazing. I prefer keeping my phone stock, all I have done is update to latest MG4 software, rooted using CF-Autoroot and installed CWM recovery, then flashed the LiteGX kernel (and applied the zzmove yank profile). It absolutely flies and battery life is excellent. I would recommend this to anyone who wants mainly stock but is looking for a performance boost.

The worst thing was my original one hadn't been dropped much (maybe once) no chips or marks. Was in fairly good nick actually.

I doubt I'll buy another Samsung

ANy else have a problem with the charging socket?

Mine wont charge unless the lead ispushed up at and angle from the back, tried a could have different leads that have been ok but they both do it.

Which is most likely, worn lead or damaged socket??
