You can sort of combine but I can just swipe left or right on the notification to switch between the two. Seems fast enough to me, anyway:
Settings > Interface > Notification drawer > Quick access ribbon
Notification light should be settings > Display & Lights > Pulse notification = enable

I'm waiting on another CM11 build. I'll wait until the stable CM11 is available, but Temasek will create a final build with near to no issues once it is released. *Fingers crossed*

Hopefully! Had a major set back for me on Temasek v84 random crashes all day yesterday woke up this morning and phone had crashed and spent most of the night in a boot loop. Full wipe and installed SlimKat and all is working well now, very odd 
going to take a slim nandroid and re flash Temasek to see if its just an odd bug, if not I will switch to slim or omni ROMs.

Might switch to Slim or Omni myself. Having so many freezes and notification bar screw ups on the past few Temasek roms.

Anyone have trouble reinstalling Titanium Backup after flashing SlimKat?
Came from ArchiDroid with apps backed up with titanium but now that Im on SlimKat, when I try to reinstall Titanium, but it says that I need root access?
And when I try to install SuperSu, it always fails.

No bother, got it sorted, I think haha
That's odd, cos I updated from SK V4.9 to 5.2 last night and I never lost root.
I didn't do a full wipe though, I just wiped the Dalvik cache and the Cache partition.
Just updated to Temasek V87, android.process.acore crashes every second after i dismiss it, can't do anything on my phone, it keeps popping up.
Looks like a simple reboot fixed it, scared me a tad. Is it possible to downgrade? Just follow the same process as upgrade? Format Cache, Preload, System and dalvik, then load earlier rom?

I've just flashed Slim gapps and the icons of lots of apps in the Play store are all messed up.
Temasek v88 is up changelog here
