Am I missing something, why are ee selling them at £70+ when you can get it for £33 a month from Samsung and then just a Sim only plan.

Unless you actually use the 100gig ee are offering, which is mental.

What am I missing with this Samsung upgrade thing?

If the S10+ doesn't excite you the Pixel 4 won't either, it'll have nowhere near as many features, probably just a better camera.

Sony have been doing side fp for years. It works well and doubles as the power button. It is placed on a convenient place for either hand as your index of thumb rests on it immediately.
 
I really am on the fence with this, the hole punch looks like it takes a chunk of usable space across the screen as things get pushed down.

No bloatware

Those two alone are enough to deter me from this year's offering from Samsung.
 
Well my work has actually offered 15x points (15% off) the S10 family of phones so that's an astounding early saving I COULD get...will be trying to resist the temptation to buy one out of pure curiosities sake now...although I do doubt I'd want to give up that stock Android experience again!
 
I'd rather have side or rear fingerprint than front! i can imagine the smudge that will be there permanently would be annoying.
 
Ended up finding some low light videos on YouTube, so given that EE just gave me a cracking retentions deal on the S10+ 512gb decided to upgrade with them.
