**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S10 Family Thread ****

I haven't. Claim was validated on the 13th, the status page has changed from validated to processed, so I'm expecting and email from DX any day.

The trade in only took 2 or 3 days to send and get approved.

Going to HK on business soon and I might pick up an S10 whilst I'm there. Hoping it will work with Wi-Fi calling on EE, but can't seem to find any info suggesting whether it will or not...

Anyone tried it?

This is my main concern. Someone on reddit confirmed that the Wi-Fi calling worked on their Snapdragon model and they were based in Sweden, so there's hope yet.

FFS rumours that the N10 will be 6.7", stop making your phones increasingly bigger Samsung! A smaller version is also rumoured though.

Trying to decide betwixt the plus or the pro p30
For me the Huawei EMUI software ruins the experience. Sure the camera is technically better than the Samsung but the colours are also awful. Overall I would take the Samsung, the camera is still very good and the software is a better experience.

My Trade In has finally been processed.. The phone was in immaculate order until a few days before I had to send it off.. I dropped it and cracked the corner of the screen..I've just had a response to say there is a problem, and I have to pay the full excess of £100.. To be honest I expected them to charge the full excess for the crack.

Are they deducting £100 from the trade in value, or are they asking you to pay £100 and they value the phone at £0?

My phone (S7 Edge) was valued at £200, which was deducted at point of purchase.. They are now asking me to buy £100, thus valuing my phone to £100.

£100 is the maximum they can deduct, so I guess even if your phone is really smashed up they cant take more (this is in the T&Cs).

Is anyone having the unlocking in pocket issue? Mine has been really bad this last week or so. The only thing that seems to mostly cure it for me is to disable double tap to wake but I find that feature very useful so would rather leave it on.

Ah okay, thanks. Guess I need to be patient!

Do you have 'accidental touch protection' turned on under display settings?

Yes have that turned on and have just turned off the Increased Sensivity option to see if that makes a difference. Although from what I'm reading on other forums neither of those settings seem to have an effect.

Yeah, missed my buds delivery. DX kinda suck, you can't arrange to arrange a collection at their depot or arrange to delivery to an alternative location. Bit of a pain when you're out between 9 and 5.

I like the look of the S10 range. Currently on an S8plus. Would it feel like a nice change? I always worry things feel a bit too same when upgrading.

I would go for the standard s10 but as I have a plus currently, it may feel odd going down to a smaller size :(
