Anyone know how to exclude screenshots from Google Photos auto upload? Or move the default screenshot location?

Buds turned up. Had 30 minutes with them and I'm pretty impressed. Really comfortable, the sounds are as good as the supplied ear buds (at least to me) and the touch pad seems intuitive.
Have to agree. Was a bit meh about them, but then changed the buds out for the largest size and then the bass was great with a decent all around sound. Perfect for the gym.

You can't do this unfortunately. The screenshot album is seen as the same as Camera
Oh never knew that. I very rarely save my screenshots at all. I use the Google Assistant feature to take a screenshot and share it without it saving to the device at all, very handy.

If the main camera was a big improvement I might have considered the S10, however all the comparisons make it look no better than the S9, that's disappearing, the only difference seems to be software and the wide angle camera which I don't care about. The S8, S9 and S10 camera is basically the same, they need to do better.

Do they though? The physical camera tech has pretty much gone as far as it can IMO, it's mostly down to software at this stage is it not? Take the OnePlus 6T, average camera at best but whack on the Google Cam mod and it's almost up there with the big boys.
I think Samsung could improve their auto processing/HDR/beauty mode faff and that would make a massive improvement.

Samsung's camera software needs an overhaul, the HDR mode is disappointing and they don't even have a night mode yet.

I never had much luck with the Gcam mode, weird artefacts in photos and it was completely useless in low light, I gave up with it.

Nope. Look at Huawei P30 pros main senor size compared to Samsung's. Then on top you have the RYB layout.

I don't want to save them either, but google photos has uploaded it before I can even delete it. I didn't know google assistant allows screenshots without saving - thanks will look in to it.

Yeah it was a feature that came in around Oreo (I remember using it on my Pixel).

Is that an S10 thing? I can exclude them on the Pixel.

yeah must be. can't figure out how to take a screenshot through assistant without it saving either. guide me:o
I activate GA by swiping up from bottom middle of the screen and a holding for a couple of seconds - if you use the nav buttons then you would just hold the home button for a couple of seconds. Then just select Share Screenshot.
