**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S10 Family Thread ****

my buds came this morning not opened them whats the going rate guys might hoy them on ebay
They seem to be hovering around £80-90 Inc postage. I am watching a few myself but as mentioned previously I'm not sure if they're a worthwhile upgrade over my Airpods.

Where are we with the included screen protector, particularly on the 10e? Mine is becoming a bit scratched and it definitely seems to be interfering with the functioning of the edge panel.
I don't normally do protectors but that's partly down to the faff that is associated with fitting them. I kept the protector on my 6T for the first couple of months then removed it after Christmas. Then first week in January I managed to scratch the screen!

Took mine off (S10+) and happy with the outcome.

On an s10e isn't the screen flat so you could just get a decent glass protector if you're so inclined?

Yes that is an option. However the issue is the edge of the protector seems to interfere with the phone registering a swipe on the very edge of the display (and I would imagine a glass one would be the same if not worse).
I could be talking nonsense :p but would be interested in hearing what other 10e users have experienced.

So I sold my Fortnite ikonic skin which Samsung are giving exclusively to S10 owners. The average sale price at launch was £47 on eBay, I just sold mine for £26 as I don't play fortnite... In the USA people were paying in excess of $100!!!!

Crazy how exclusive/rare in-game skins and things are worth decent money.

Can anyone who bought an S10 (e in my case) get one? I've no desire to use it but if there's money to be made...

Mine lasted a few days on my S10 before I removed it. Just don't put it in your pocket with keys I guess. Fingerprint reader is a lot better without it. I have a cheap silicone case too- worth it just to hide the camera bump.

Did you remove the pre fitted one then? I usually have glass protectors but wasnt going to bother as this has one already on? Is it not very good quality?

It's a film one so ironically whilst it protects the screen from scratches it itself scratches very easily so looks scratched even though the screen isn't scratched.

Quite the paradox!

Im usually not a fan of screen protectors but this s10 is technically on 12 month loan (no cost to me work related) so I don't want to damage it.

The zagg screen protector is one of those self healing ones so marks disappear after 2-3 days.

That's something else though, that's not what's on the S10 as stock

I like the factory screen protector mainly because it so well applied, I don't even know it's there. There are some scratches but you only see them when the screen is off.

Mine was wonky:p It was applied centrally (same gap at each corner) but the front facing camera cut out wasn't perfect.

dbrand Matrix looks really nice on the S10e, feels quality as well. I managed to chip a corner of the Xtremeskins one with my nail so couldn't live with it any longer :o

I've tried about 5 dbrand skins on my gs 8 now and the edges always just feel terrible, tried using a hair dryer etc. but makes no difference for me, can feel the edges peeling off slightly and then the dust etc. that gets attached on the edges, urgh........
