I got the 3ATFG update yesterday on a unlocked S20 ultra. Camera and security performances apparently.
Has anyone had any of the updates yet they have had in america there have been 2 updates for the ultra in america im still stuck on the may update and like i have said there have been 2 updates since, damn ee is so slow with the updates.
That site does not include the yet to be released 2 updates only what has already been pushed out already.(EE) but does include the new vodaphone one. Again i do not think its a site where you can pick up updates from before they are released.. but thank you anyhow.I'm on three and they are also very slow. I cant be bothered to wait and use this:

Just grab the most recent BTU firmware and follow the update instructions. I don't think I have used OTA since the first patch.
I have been using this site since 2010 when I got my first Samsung.
Make sure you select the correct model for your phone.

After 8 years with Apple i've just come off the phone to EE having ordered a S20 Ultra for tomorrow!
Actually nervous haha
Can anyone recommend the best bang for buck 256gb MicroSD Card? I don't think i'll need an A2 super duper high speed one as it'll only really be used for storage of music, photos, videos etc.
I will be interested to see how you get on. Do you have any other Apple products? I’m quite bored of my iPhone but feels hard to separate myself from my AirPods and Apple Watch.

I think the opposite to this, I've been using android for about 10 years, but have used ipads over the years and whenever I try to use my wife's iPhone 11 I really struggle. Android for me is a lot more accessible and its features are simple to find and use.1 hour in thoughts.
The design of the Android OS is just gross compared to iOS, an iphone is much easier to look at and makes more sense to navigate. Might just need some time to adjust, and can always changes launches.
Swapping over is a hassle. Samsung Smart Switch pulled contacts across but thats all. Also WhatsApp backs up to iCloud, so when you log in on the S20 theres not chat history, trying to work out how to get chat history across now, then I have to try and work out how to get the thousands of videos/videos from iCloud to Google Drive.
Screen at 120hz is nice, haven't really tested much on it as been messing around trying to get WhatsApp working
Will obviously need some time to adjust and learn, but as of right now i'm regretting my decision, but hopeful that this opinion will be changed once i've got everything set up, apps downloaded, phone customised to my liking and can focus on enjoying if![]()

Thats a bummer. I know wirh android i can back up my chats to Google drive. I take it apple don't let you choose where to store the backup?Like I say, I think a bit of an adjustment period is going to be needed and i'm happy to allow that.
But just getting my WhatsApp chat history onto my S20 Ultra is going to take me around 10 hours in total, found a program for windows that pulls the WhatsApp data from an iTunes backup of my phone, extracts it, then you can drag it into the Downloads folder on the S20.
The transfer of data from PC to S20 is going to take 3hrs45m...
So having received my new phone today the sim is coming out of it and back into my iPhone because it's not going to be done until early hours and I need a phone with everything I need on it for work, let alone just wanting the chat history there for personal reasons....
Nope, just the airpods! Well I have an old MacBook Pro but that's just a web surfing or YouTube in bed laptop, nothing else.
Believe the airpods will still work as I use them (only ever use touch controls to play/pause and don't really use hey siri, although there's apps to restore this functionality.
The big thing that made me change, was the fact that the last three iPhones I've had, after 6-8 months the speakers slowly get quieter and quieter to the point that I can barely hear a call if there's background noise, and the loudspeaker for calls and media is also so quiet I can barely hear it with a fan on in the room.
Im sure this will be something I'm doing in some way, but cannot work it out and no amount of cleaning, resetting or anything else fixes it
Incase I forget to report back, give me a tag in a week or so and I'll let you know how I get on!![]()
IPA wipe the receiver. We see it every day.
Either way, enjoy the phone
The bottom of the phone?

How has the WhatsApp migration gone? Thats the only thing stopping me moving to Android.

Yep, found a program and paid £40 which seems to be the only way to do it.
S20 Ultra is back in its box and waiting for a shipping bag to arrive from EE to send it back.
The WhatsApp migration was what started it, then just lots of little things with the main one being no visual voicemail (or at least easy and simple to work visual voicemail).
Android is also not very nice to look at compared to iOS. I get you can change launchers etc etc but just the baseline OS such as notifications are drab and dreary.
I really really wanted to like it but there's just to many little things which I can't get along with, and with my phone being such an essential tool for my business, I don't think I have the time to adjust to all of them!
Maybe in a few years when I can afford two phones I'll get one just for fun and messing around with haha!
@matt100 Yeah you've got it bang on, on iOS you can only backup WhatsApp to iCloud and that's it.
You can go through each chat individually and email them across but I just don't have the time to do that for the hundreds of chats I have, especially old ones discussing quotes and prices with customers, and I don't want to lose all of the premium memes I've shared with friends![]()
