**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S21 Family Thread ****

First impressions-
Only slightly longer than the S10+, same width, also a little thicker. You can feel the heft in your hand.
Screen looks great. The improved refresh rate is excellent. Just what I need over the S10.
Had a quick look at the camera and that is as impressive as advertised.

I'm just finishing the transfer and installation of apps. Very smooth process as usual.
 
When people are referring to the "2" screen protectors, one is the standard film that you get on practically every new phone. The other is an actual, more permanent screen protector that they seem to have applied to the S10 and S20.

Had my DPD email saying my Ultra due tomorrow too. Ordered direct from Samsung and I have the Spigen Tough Armor case already sitting here waiting. Had them on my S10+ and S20+ had couldn't see any reason not to use same again on the S21 Ultra :D
 
Got a Spigen Ultra Hybrid on S20+, lovely design but not really very drop friendly, mainly just for scratches.

Anyone recommend an S21 Ultra case with a black frame and clear back, with a bit of protection?

Might get Gear4 D30 Crystal Palace but at the moment they don't have the black framed one listed on the website.
 
Just got my delivery notification for tomorrow for my S21 Ultra; ordered the Spigen Slim Armor case with the slot for a couple of bank cards.
Really wanted the Tough Armor as I like having the kickstand so will get that once its back in stock

Got mine from Amazon. It said Out of Stock but then said you could order for delivery on the 29th. I thought great as same day phone arrives. Case arrived yesterday and phone arrives tomorrow. I couldn't find the case in stock anywhere else either. It now says mid Feb I think on Amazon.
 
Seeing a few reports on Reddit from folk with the Exynos CPU reporting the phone getting very hot with very few apps open, hope we're not going to see another year where the UK/European models are by far sub par to the Snapdragon ones...
