**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S21 Family Thread ****

I think the S21 Ultra might just be my favourite phone of all time. I genuinely find very few flaws, everything just seems to work, which is unusual for me as I always seem to find something that is annoying. A little effort was needed to personalise the phone to my preferences, but otherwise everything just seems to work perfectly. Hopefully it will stay that way. Not only that, but the screen, camera and performance really is top drawer.

One of the only gripes I have is the inability to copy text from any screen like you could on a Pixel, mystifying that they took this capability out. Any suggestions on a workaround or tweak is welcome!
 
Not directly related to my S21 but as I'm eventually going to have to return my S10 I thought I'd begin wiping it and preparing it. Which includes taking off the whitestone dome screen protector that was on it.

Turns out mine wasn't going to play ball.

Had my free buds pro and tag pre-order confirmed now the waiting game to get them.

Also had my info to claim my free 12 months Xbox ultimate pass and razer kishi controller. my code did not work for the controller I had to ring up ee I had to send an email to the shop where you need to claim it from. they apparently do it manually and send it.

Out of the blue I've received an email and sms saying my Ultra Titanium is, afterall, being delivered today between 13:30-14:30. \o/
 
How are people getting on with glass screen protectors and the finger print sensor? I read mixed things online about underscreen sensors.

I've not removed the factory fitted one yet but have always used glass protectors in the past.

The fingerprint reader is garbage. Nearly always takes multiple attempts to get a successful read. I have my thumb scanned 3 times to try and help. No screen protector.
Worked almost perfectly on my pixel 2xl

Works perfectly on my 21 ultra too with the original factory fitted screen protector


Although I have noticed in this cold I get very dry hands and rough skin and that does affect it, need to moisturise lol
 
I found the same with the factory screen protector it works perfectly fine but when I installed tampered one I could not get it to work at all so I had to remove it.

Thanks, that's what I've read about other phones with glass screen protectors to. I leave the factory on for now and when it gets tatty find a similar phone to replace it.
