I always found the fps hit and miss on pixels, yet its tbf opposite experience here, works great. Way better than any pixel I've had, especially the 5 which was garbage frankly.

I think the fingerprint reader on my s21u is much better if I disable the battery optimisation for the biometrics app.
I get less misreads and it reacts quicker. I've only just tried it though, so I'm not sure how much effect it will have on overall batterylife if any.

7 hours SOT, still with 20% ish left in the tank at the end of the day. I've not managed to drain the battery below 15% yet even if using it to watch streamed videos for a couple of hours over the day.

That's for the ultra.
 
My claim for the wireless pad was declined this morning. Not unexpected. I'm still setting up my Ultra and haven't really pushed it yet, but so far I have no issues to report. The fingerprint scanner works 99% of the time and when it doesn't it just requires a very slight reorientation of my finger.

I bought the silicon case with built in S-Pen and whilst I think the case it as boring as heck and actually totally covers my 'exclusive' titanium finish :cool: I'm loving the pen. I've been using it loads, even when it makes typing slower, e.g. texts, I still find myself using it.

Battery life, so far, is ok. Been going to bed with it around 50%. But I haven't really been monitoring usage as such, and couldnt really tell you how much of the day I spent doing any one thing.

I did notice the battery app I downloaded 'AccuBattery' detected the battery as 4850mAh. Ultra's are quoted as having 'typically' 5000mAh, aren't they?

I recieved my S21 Ultra a few days back (after having first tried a Note 20 which had a fawlty camera module so I returned it & exchanged for the ultra)

When using Dex the option to use my phone screen as a touchpad does not exist, I've looked all over the notifications, settings etc and it's just not there, any ideas?

Also on my Note 20 when I was playing with Dex there was a feature to be able to move the mouse onto the phone screen itself, again I cannot find this feature, maybe it doesn't exist on the S21 Ultra.

Bit stumped, appreciate any pointers.
 
Seems like I'm the odd one out with the fingerprint scanner, so I can only conclude either mine is broken or perhaps I scan my thumb's weird. How do you all scan yours? I do a few central scans of varying pressure and then try and catch my thumb in slightly differently angles... Maybe I've over complicated it.

The scanner is definitely more hit and miss than the one that was on my previous oneplus 7 pro. That never missed a scan, this one is probably missing one in ten.
 
upgrading from a S10+ to s21 ultra. also got a galaxy watch 3 and the free live buds. The watch has arrived but a few more days for the phone still :[ hurry up EE!

When your plugged into an external screen look at the phone - at the bottom of the screen an extra icon appears on the navigation bar to use the Touchpad

is anyone else getting calls mobile numbers offering deals on a new phone, from Carphone warehouse and others ?
its only recently happened to me so I had a feeling someone is selling our info (samsung)
