What case/charger/screen protectors are most people going for? I'm going to go for the OtterBox defender tough. Not the prettiest but rugged.
I'll probably get the Spigen Liquid Air case as I like it on my current S10. I'm going to stick with my existing Quick Charge 3.0 chargers initially and see how I get on with those.

This is what I was thinking of getting, but not tried one before. Looks pretty slim, but smart

No new charger for me, I slow charges for battery life, yay for the 85% stop recently added.

I went for the official leather case and a quick view like I have on my note 10, not done anything for screen protector yet.

I went for the Green Parralax by Caseology

Yep delivery is scheduled for the 25th, they may just ship them out early. I've seen them doing that before. If it appears early then great but not expecting it

If you don't get it tomorrow, that does seem real early to get a DPD tracking number. Fingers crossed for you.

5hrs is not great. My pixel 5 would do 7+, 6 did 7-8 and my current 13 pro does 8+

5 for e.g. for me as a heavy/power user would not be enough and would mean a recharge at around 5-6 pm.

Not great but now awful, typically turning off 4k resolution, AoD sorts it out. Plus I will debloat with adb which always improves the battery life .

Then also restrict background operation of certain apps, bit of work but it really improves it.

With Apple they have end to end control plus they don't restrict a lot of background apps and I believe still don't do true multi tasking.

Best comparison is other Android devices, my s21 ultra is around 6-7 hours , pixel 6 Pro slightly better until you turn on 5g

Spending over £1k on a phone that is supposed to be high end just to switch off everything is not a good look. These S22Us are more expensive than iPhones.

Too late to cancel my pre order but I'll be returning it without even opening the box, the battery life sounds terrible for a £1k+ flagship
