**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S22 Family Thread ****

The full 108MP with detail enhancer mode is pretty impressive. Excellent detail and more natural vs the crunchy 12MP which has too much sharpening for me. A quick edit and resize and you're done.

What cases are people using? Cant find any good reviews of the official Samsung silicon one. I've got the official Samsung leather one arriving today but realised that I have quite liked my previous Spigen silicon-esque cases for not having to care about getting it wet etc, whereas leather will remove that so will probably send it back for either another spigen or the Samsung official silicon case...

I really like the idea of the Mous cases with the built in magnets that still work with wireless charging, would be much easier for my dash mount than the current spring-loaded arms, but i don't like any of the finishes and they're not exactly cheap...

The Samsung leather is the very best plastic looking leather I don't think you'll have to worry about it much :D I got the burgundy leather I like the look, will be interesting to see how it wears/weathers, it is nice and light though, shouldn't add much bulk to the phone, it's 28g, the new clear view is 72g which is almost 20g heavier than the note 10 clearview, that is going to beef up the S22U by quite some margin, gonna feel that in the pocket compared to the Note10+ considering the S22U is already 10% heavier.

my Note 10 fits in them quite well cameras/buttons aside, who knows when I will get the S22U :D

Take a look at the Caseology range. I went for the Green Parralax

The Samsung leather cases don't double up as stands though correct?

No they don't, though you can with the clear view depending on surface. Also found it handy on the train where the flap can go into headrest pocket and in the car when parked up waiting for sprog or missing in car parks etc, it fits nice in the 3 spoked wheel

Turning the screen refresh counter on in the dev settings, the refresh rate never seems to dip below 24Hz.

And on the AOD it's fixed @ 60Hz. Where's this 1Hz Samsung.

Anyone found a good skin? Just want a clear Matte one and hate cases but nowhere has one yet. Deffo not waiting for a DBrand import.

Managed to claim all of the offers now, Disney+ and Buds Pro, Disney+ should save us around £90 a we subscribe and I will sell the buds pro unopened (hopefully get £100) for them.

Happy with the phone, run ADB and stripped all the rubbish out and seems to work pretty well, not tested the camera much yet.

Do you have a link to how to do this & a list of apps that are safe to take out?

Cheers
