**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S23 Family Thread ****

First impressions... Christ this thing is huge, it feels like carrying a notebook around in one pocket,

What's everyone else coming from as a precious phone out of interest?

Same here for my 512GB Red - showing as delivery on the 20th but still sitting as "Processing"
Also facing the same dilemma here now. Ordered Watch 5 pro 2 days ago as it was showing in stock available for delivery today on 20th, paid for post 12pm postage and even up until this morning order is still left on processing.

What a farce.

Fully agreed, watch 5 Pro and red ultra both showing in stock even at checkout.

Will be cancelling my order today, my pixel 7 pro will suffice

After trying to get an update from Samsung I cancelled as I don't really need it, took me 45 minutes to cancel and the CS person was being very evasive trying to not give a refund, in the end I told them I will request via my credit card company and raise a formal complaint. As they had sent the case out two weeks ago they claimed they couldn't refund the order and it was outside the returns window, I simply told them to refund the phone and the watch 5 pro which he first refused to do stating it's all part of the same order, I then made it clear they were the ones that had failed to deliver said items.

So I have to return my case and then they will refund, will never ever deal with Samsung again as their customer service is shocking, I also have a log of the entire conversation in case they want to mess me around

Good luck with your phones everyone, sure they are fantastic when you get them

My sky blue S23U will apparently be delivered today, even though this Friday was the date I selected when ordering (earliest one they offered) lol. Sounds like they have really messed this all up, they really should just let an existing shop like Argos or something handle it all for them, especially if they can't be bothered to give decent customer service when they mess it all up!

My Green 1TB Ultra is supposed to get delivered this Friday after getting delayed once. I really hope they don't delay mine again, I'm tired of waiting for it and very tired of dealing with Samsung Customer service.

How should one set up Google authenticator on a new phone?
They give you backup codes each time you set up a 2FA. If you have a new phone, with a fresh install of Authenticator, use the backup codes to bring each 2FA instance over.

These backup codes should be saved in a text file within an encrypted password protected zip file, on an encrypted password protected external drive like a Samsung T7.

Thanks, now I can't remember if I saved backup codes when I set up authenticator on my current phone. Am I screwed?
