It's free, there is a subscription path whicvh offers more things but the base Pay+ bits are more than enough. Just activate and go.

Such a breeze to install. She says her fingerprint sensor is ever so slightly affected but it gets it right almost every time. My earlier figure of a 50% hit rate for my new one is nearer 0-5% :p

Also been looking into charge times etc, a 30 min charge at 45W on both S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra gets both phones to around 70%. Only the S23 Ultra sees a small improvement in 10mins and 20 mins charge times resulting in a few more %, but nothing to even warrant calling it a win. So no, the S23 ultra is not remarkably faster at charging, even the first 50% from empty.

Got a bit of an issue with mine
My S pen won't connect for air actions, when I remove it says disconnected, it asks me to re insert to connect, never connects so when I pull it out again it says connecting..... disconnected
Anyone else had this issue? The new S pen works with my S22U fine, hoping the phone doesn't have an issue :(
 
Speaking of Samsung Pay, I think this was the cause of my earlier issues. I think the phone was getting confused as to which was the default wallet, even though I haven't seen one thing about Samsung Pay since I got my phone.
 
New update out btw, seems a bit big to be just the monthly security update patch so will have to wait and see if any other changes are included:

does anyone have wifi 6 connection problems? I am getting an exclamation mark next to the wifi icon and says that it is connected without internet. Other devices have no problem.

(just to mention that this problem remained also after applying yesterday's update )

Mine is working fine on Wifi6.
 
Just checked email and DPD are expecting my phone. Ordered sky blue on the 15th for delivery on the 25th so lets see when it actually arrives. Case arrived last fri as expected

Mine did that but I went into the S Pen settings and reset it. It's been fine ever since.

Yeah I've had it once on the WiFi 6 router downstairs. Disconnected and reconnected and it was fine. (Asus AX86s - Latest firmware)

Base S23

Might be worth reporting it via the Samsung members app. I've done the same.

Try and do the report within a few minutes of the issue happening - for the sake of logs etc.

Ah bugger, well if I keep the S23 Ultra I may look to get that card eitherway for everything else, seems very convenient and I like the auto cashback feature as well as allowing you to change the card it charges for transactions for up to 30 days after.

Just received my Watch 5 pro and setting it up now.

Putting the phone on charge earlier at 45w with Super Fast Charging 2.0 - done 10-100% in an hour which is quite insane:



Managed 7h30m SoT over a 24h period which is might impressive, the SD Gen2 chip doing wonders, idle drain also very good too.

A pleasant surprise so far with the S23 Ultra coming from 13 Pro Max.

What's the camera like on the ultra vs the s21 ultra if anyone has both?

I doubt it's enough for me to consider upgrades. But interested.
