So ordered a simple clear case from amazon when there was an offer on couple weeks ago - before buying thr phone ofcourse
Then 2 get the 10% discount ordered a samsung clear case as only other thing I wanted was a charger which wasnt in stock to order

Also just ordered samsung screen protector from the other site as it's in stock, so hopefully can rock that combo when the phone eventually comes
 
Image cut-outs feature is an S23 exclusive feature it seems. Was with family over the weekend who have S22s and with One UI 5.1 updated they could not do cut-outs. Oh how they cried :cry:

Also been looking into charge times etc, a 30 min charge at 45W on both S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra gets both phones to around 70%. Only the S23 Ultra sees a small improvement in 10mins and 20 mins charge times resulting in a few more %, but nothing to even warrant calling it a win. So no, the S23 ultra is not remarkably faster at charging, even the first 50% from empty.

Just wondering if anyone has a workaround for adding unsupported cards to Samsung Wallet ?

I've had a Starling account for a while, was easy enough to add to the wallet. But cards from other Banks just refuse. I've a Samsung Pay+ card (basically uses Curve), so could just add them to that. But just wanted to ask.
 
Samsung Pay+ is the only way, it works through Samsung Pay anyway and is all integrated well, plus you get cashback at many retail places automatically as curve cash.
 
Another S23U screen protector, and I got it on fine but the fingerprint sensor has gone from 99% to about 50%. I just wish they made the exact same one as my wife's S23 for the Ultra.

What's the difference ?
I remember samsung pay. then samsung wallet and google wallet and now pay+ ?
 
Pay+ has been out for ages, it gives you a black Samsung Pay+ debit card (mastercard) like Apple Pay's Apple card, it is paired to the Curve system and allows you to add any debit card to it and you can switch around which card is used etc, as well as change the payment card used for past transactions at any time as well. You collect more retailer offers with it and you basically pay for everything using the Samsung Pay+ card via Samsung Pay.

Ah I've never used Samsung+ but I do have a Curve Card and I've just always used that instead!

It does work well but Samsung really need to simplify this situation. Use the Samsung Wallet app to use Samsung Pay, but that Samsung Pay card is created via the Curve app which you then link back to Samsung Wallet.

But on the watch the app is Samsung Pay.

I find Samsung pay sucks as well as you can't add all the stuff you can on Google wallet eg boarding passes, covid passes etc...
 
In other news my s23 U has arrived today, I think there is a notable increase in main camera performance over S22U. Will see how the battery goes over the next few days but hoping to see a big improvement
