Otherwise there is an app (came remember the name) that flashes a coloured ring around the front camera when a notification is received.

I like the idea of this as I did use the RGB LED notification light on earlier Galaxy models. For the coloured ring around the camera hole-cut out, will it eventually cause screen burn out in the area where the ring is if the ring is static? The always-on screensaver moves slightly every 1 minute to prevent screen burn out which is why it's called a screensaver.

Has anybody else lost android auto since the update at the weekend? I've no idea if it's linked to the update or just coincidental but ever since the update I can't get android auto to start.

No problem here. A few weeks back the UI changed substantially to the starting tiled view.

How much system storage use are people seeing? Mine is 112GB!

Mine updated to the new UI prior to receiving my S23U and then switched back to the old UI with my S23U until around a week ago but as of yesterday it won't even load. Yesterday I was getting a 'Mirrorlink connection cannot be established..." message but today I don't even get that. A quick google search tells me it's not an uncommon problem with the S23 but no idea how to fix it :/

You should be able set it to pulse maybe every 5 or 10 seconds

What screen protector did you get. There are loads on amazon so just want to check which one you got? I don't like the glass ones. Thanks.

I got this thinking it was a glass TG but it's think plastic it seems. Wasn't happy at all but saying that, fingerprint reader works.

For anyone looking for a nice launcher I found Smart Launcher which groups your apps into customisable tabs. Looks so much cleaner and complete than the Samsung launcher and before this I used to use Nova which is still messy for the app drawer.

It also has swipe down to search/recent apps, swipe for multiple home screens, swipe for news (can choose what news you want to see), Icon effects, widgets, gestures etc...

I'm still customising mine...

I have finally bitten the bullet and ordered an S23U with trade-in option of my S20U.

Can someone please tell me when the deadline is for Samsung receiving my old handset?

DPD are being absolutely useless now on day 4 of attempted deliveries and I'm anxious that I'm going to miss the deadline and end up with a bricked S23U.

DPD themselves:

I entered instructions on their app "access to front door is past my gate (house number is on the gate on A4-sized plaque)".

Day 1 - "sorry we have missed you", no other info
Day 2 - "sorry we have missed you", with attached photo of my gate
Day 3 - "Your request to change your delivery date to day 4" (but I didn't do this myself)
Day 4 - "sorry we have missed you", with another attached photo of my gate

So they're not reading my note about the gate and they make no attempts to call me, even though I'm in and was available on all of their attempts.

I'd presume around the 1st delivery attempt as they necessary items you need to send back your old phone come with the new one.
