*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S4 Thread ***

Seems fishy to me that HTC need to replace the handset itself in order to apply this fix. On XDA they seem to think the One is being supplied with 2 different random lenses and it's luck if you get the good or bad one.

Either way will wait and see, still not sure if it's HTC applying some review control by replacing units for the benefit of favorable reviews or if there is a legitimate software bug. Hopefully for HTC it's the later.

I think it is down to both areas, not just software as HTC have made it out to be. Could also very likely be down to lens alignment issue i.e. on the right side of some photos, it is a blurry mess followed by the left and then the centre being the sharpest.

Very possible that they could be using different lenses too.

Whatever is causing the problem (the ISO problem being one of the software problems), I hope they fix it quickly. Will find out for good once/if people get this "update".

If they are just doing this for reviews, then it will come back and bite them in the ass big time, false advertising right there then!

Not at all.

Just tired of having pointless discussions with fanboys :)

Either way, no point continuing to discuss what "I think" as clearly we will never agree.

i guess you're calling me a fanboy now :( i guess i wear samsung glasses too.. because for some odd reason ONE images just don't look good? must be the samsung bits in my blood lol.

actually s2 is my first samsung :O

had alcatel.. then SE.. and another one.. and another one.. and then went with Nokia.. and then ZTE.. and now samsung :) not sure how can i be called a fanboy..

i think you need to think about it nexus.. you're posting that same XDA post with good images while there's 10+ review sites with images a lot worse than that.. yes those in that post look alright but 1/10 ratio is nothing to raise your voice over and call some one a fanboy..

even if it wasn't aimed at me i see no fanboys here.. :o

so then that post literally took the best images he(the poster) could find and merge them into one? daheck.

if i was to pick the best images from my old k800i i would pwn ONE too.. :D

A bit more bumph on the 70/30% manufacturing, I'm posting because of the side links on the article some ip5s n 6 leaks, might be considered worth looking at.

If the new iPhones look anything like those renders (which they won't) then I'd be picking one up on release.

I have a feeling it will look exactly the same as the 5 with a spec bump.

Edit - Sorry, I just realised that my post is horrendously off topic.

Don't worry it was my trip wire that made you fall off the topic;)

Looking good regarding the battery life. Can't wait to see what the octa version will be like.

Just such a shame about the UI/layout/colour scheme of touchwiz, that is what really puts me of galaxy phones (cba with rooting etc. these days, even if it is easy to do). Why on earth Samsung dropped the black for white on a SAMOLED phone is beyond me  :o

The new colour profiles for the screen are interesting. Should allow everyone to get a colour reproduction that they are happy with.

Both the S4 and the HTC One are looking great, really are spoilt for choice these days :p
