Specifications wise I don't expect the S4 to improve hugely from the S3. Perhaps more RAM? IMO the major expectation is a design overhaul.
S4 to have "Green" PHOLED display

I think the 'green' points to the efficiency, not the colour.![]()
There's no doubt that the specs will be great, but the GSIV needs to have a killer design if it wants to win me over. This means a departure from its current design language, which is unlikely, but you never know...
So are you saying you'd buy an inferior device if the consensus is it looks better than the S4?

Is that such a shocking thing to do?
If you're the sort of person who uses your phone as a fashion accessory to impress your friends and improve your social standing no... i guess it isnt.
depending on how inferior the other device is.

People do it all the time though. From their house and car down to the tomatoes they buy in the supermarket.

We're at the stage in smartphone evolution where most flagships from the key Android manufacturers are good enough.
At the moment, I've got my eye on the HTC One and Xperia Z. I don't see either as being 'inferior' to anything Samsung will throw out next week. Yes, it makes sense to wait, but does anyone really expect that the GSIV will be a step-change over the HO or XZ? I doubt it very much.
