It has the same top of the line hardware as the other flagship phone. Everything else about it is average or worse I'd say. Touchwiz only sounds like it's going to take up even more resources than before with gimmick features. The phone is still cheap tacky plastic that looks about as rounded as the original iphone

It has the same top of the line hardware if you're being vague, there will no doubt be differences. The S3 edged just about everything in a like-for-like comparison vs its rivals.

Your main gripe seems to surround the design, there's more to it than that.

Surely you are referring to TouchWiz rather than Android? It is shipping with Jelly Bean 4.2.2.

No, it isn't, it's Samsung's flagship Android phone. That's a bit like expecting a newly-launched Dell PC to come with a completely new version of Windows that nobody else has.
