Battery is the big deal breaker yes, if the new AMOLED screen is as power efficient as they say then all should be good. Need GSMArena to do their comparison.

Nice one. travel underground in the hot temps with sweaty armpits infront of your face with no ventilation and noise levels that drive you mad whilst i be cruising down the road chillin, taking only 20mins to reach westfield.
once reach westfield i can buy a crap load of stuff and dump it in the boot of my car and ride home whilst you will have to lug around and carry all your shopping back to the stuffy underground trains

You realise that the One and Z would have been pretty much design complete well before either company even saw the Z10 right?
Phones aren't designed in a couple of weeks they take years to design from scratch.

The phone is great if you like the design.

Admittedly it's 3's doing, had they not announced free 4G upgrades then I'd not be bothered either way!
How come you didn't get an LTE note 2? 3 have dual channel H+ which you could have been enjoying?
These presentations are always quite amusing... dressing up features/software already present as if it's some kind of amazing future-changing technology.

He's really excited about getting a 6th row of icons on the next iphone when it gets released.
Because when I got the phone 3 had yet to announce their 4G rollout. Or at least I had yet to hear of it. That and the weaker dev support for the LTE version.

Looking around the usual tech blogs there is a real sense of disappointment and of missed oppurtunity with the S4.

It's better looking than the S3, has a 1080p 5" screen in a smaller shell with a bigger battery, and an all round improved spec. Hardly the same plastic phone?
I'm more impressed with this then I was with the S3. Really looking forward to the Note 3 now.
I mean the excitement with "the same" phone, the iPhone hasn't changed in just as long as the Galaxy.
