*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

anyone else annoyed about the ram issue, i like some apps to run so i can go back into them where ever i left off from, instead of it reloading again and losing where i was, and it aint instant as it would be if running from ram , cant believe they released this with this issue for such a premium device ,

also im running Nova launcher which is much smoother and so customizable
 
Got my S6 32GB in black on Tue, really happy with it so far, except for the fact that EE royally ***** up the porting from Orange so I still can't receive calls or texts... :mad:

Anyone know if you can get the old Samsung clock widget? It's 4x1 in size, showing time & date. I don't like the 4x1 included with the phone as it has weather on the side, and the only other option which I'm using at the moment is the 2x1 version. I've tried a few from the Play Store but so far not found one I like.
 
went for the 64gb version from ee cost me £550. dont know how to feel though i came from a htc one max which i had for 2 and a half years im just not getting along with it

Someones managed to make a stock android like theme without the official tools, needs root to install though
 
Damn. I still cannot decide... My iPhone 6 Plus or this Edge, I have both and keep swapping out the sim. I cannot keep both devices :(

I really like the feel of the Edge... it just sits nice in hand, even with a case on.

The iPotato 6+ is just too big for comfortable one-handed use.

Battery better on ip6+ by quite a bit.

I'm not forced to sell one tho, I might keep the iP6+ for long-term sat nav use & car media-device... although the normal 6 would be good enough for that.

Exactly that. Both two fantastic experiences in different ways. I love iMessage and FaceTime, more so the way They are integrated. And sat nav on the 6plis with this screen size is brilliant.

However, the Edge, wow what a design. It's stunning.

I'm not forced to sell one to keep the other, it just doesn't make sense to have to £1400 worth of smart phones

Suppose my possible alternate usage scenario is a bit overkill when I could sell it and get a dedicated sat-nav while pocketing the change... hmmm
