**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

Every case has an overlapped lip top and bottom for grip and most of them don't have clearance at the sides either.

Is this specifically for the S7/e?

I have applied a glass screen protector and a normal gel case to many phones without issue.

Examples of the S6

Managed to get some impressive usage when off work sick the other day. Browsing the internet, Facebook app, YouTube, Monument Valley, Twitter, Hangouts, Kindle and a couple of phone calls.

Nearly 5 hours SOT with 50% battery remaining.

Still tempted by this but the only thing holding me back is how slow Samsung are with Android updates :(

It's a fair concern, and as geeks we always like to have the latest and greatest, but right now the phone is pretty much perfect. Google would have to introduce something exceptionally game-changing in the next iteration of Android for me to be itching for an update.

I really want to love my edge but i just cant. I find once the first 10 minutes of "wow, the screen is curved" wears off, it gets really annoying really fast.

Dont get me wrong it looks stunning with the screen off. Video and games look great but the constant repositioning when browsing anything with text is hard to get on with.

I am not slating the phone. Everything else is perfect.

Any one else feel the same?

Really liking my S7 edge so far :)
Battery life has been awesome. I managed 4 days of light use with 4 hours SOT on a single charge last week and still had some % to spare.

I have a Spigen ultra hybrid case on it, but no protection for the screen yet... I pray a decent tempered glass protector is released soon
