**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

The 6P definitely takes the more natural shots, but the S7's are, what's the word I'm looking for... more accessible and perhaps more pleasing on the eye. I don't want to say they're better because from a photography point of view they aren't always great - they're a little too "HDRy".

Well I finally caved and got a black S7 (flat) from Argos :)

I was just wondering if Smart Switch is meant to also transfer app settings? It has copied all the apps from my S5 but not login details or settings for anything.

7 Edge for me in everyone, the 6p struggles with lighting conditions, can clearly see it in all the photos.

I think there's quite a few shots where I prefer the 6P like the waterfall, temple, lion etc. It looks noticeably more natural and pleasing. However it's feels a little underexposed at other times.

The S7 looks a bit OTT in the processing department and a little too vibrant most of the time. And overexposed. The S7's video camera destroys the 6P.

I feel there is a perfect medium somewhere between the 2 phone, though closer to the 6P.

Here is another good camera comparison:

At the flowers section of that video she even states the flowers are actually purple, something which the S7 rendered correctly whereas the 6P made them more blue/muted.

The sharpening can be an issue for pixel peeping, but shoot in pro mode to minimise the post processing effects somewhat really.

Nearly 5 hours SOT today with 2 hours and 20 minutes of Google maps navigation, 1 hour and 30 minutes of web browsing.

Very nice.

Still no refund from Samsung. Reported it to Barclaycard and they're "looking into it".

Won't be buying from Samsung again. I do want another S7 though. Any ideas of where I can go to?
