I reached out to Dolphin via face book, asked them about this and linked the reddit post. This was their reply

Hi Nick. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us.

This is a feature-related folder which is used to remember the video play progress, so that next time you launch Dolphin, it can start playing video where you left off. Dolphin never collects this data. This data is saved locally solely for the use of this feature. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will fix this issue in the next release, which should be in approximately 2 weeks. Have a wonderful day!

On Monday I step out of my car and hear something drop. I know already what it is. I look down and see the worse thing, my phone is on the pavement face down. OK OK... brace yourself Tobes....

I bought a S7 Edge last week from Very. Arrived on Wednesday. Got a spigen slim case on Saturday! The case is scratched up but who the hell cares it was £7!

I need mobile phone insurance though.

The same happened to me when stepping out of the car a few weeks ago, without a case the phone would have been a total mess!
 
You know what? The sound and slow motion appears to have been improved since the last 270MB odd update?

Slow motion exports are no longer as pixellated.

 
Dropped my s7e today onto concrete and thankfully the speigen case did the job, then stupidly dropped it again moments later....... someone was looking out for me as I cant see a mark :)

I must say thought, that the new version that moves just a few pixels every minute is much better than the random movements it had before - when you ended up glancing at the phone every time it moved expecting a notification or something.

It's still happening now, disabled it for a while and enabled it again earlier and thee problem is still there, I'll take a screen shot to try capture it.
