**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

Installing the camera lens sticker makes it look tacky. I prefer my phone looking like it's not wearing a skin, like the back cover might just be cf/brushed metal/matte etc, and applying the camera lens sticker makes it blindingly obvious that it's a sticker. Cheapens the look :p

Well la de da.

:p

Was it an overgrown bush from someone's garden coming across a footpath? Worth a try claiming on their home insurance?

You can claim damages from a dodgy footpath, the bush could have been causing an obstruction.

It was from my university - it's quite funny watching people walk past it getting caught on it.

Any thoughts on this please, chaps? :D

I was asked about one and even considered it myself. My concerns were there would probably be problems with warranty and I did wonder about the region lock samsung implement. The latter can't be an issue as they seem to sell plenty on ebay. In the end I didn't bother as I can wait and see what the GS8 is like next year.

Will I be able to install this on my Vodafone S7? Can u unlock it?

I've been tempted to install a carrier free stock rom anyway.

My old Note 2 is running CyanogenMod so flashing isn't too scary.

Do I need to unlock it I flash surgery ROM though?

you dont need too, the unlock is different to the ROM so after you put another ROM it will still be locked (if you haven't unlocked it)

i would unlock first to check all is well then flash a new rom

Just walked into a table (screen facing out) and heard a crunch and the glass has cracked on the left side of the speaker with hairline cracks coming out all over the place and a few hairline cracks running near enough down to the bottom.

Can't see them with the phone screen facing. Only at angles. Dropped it on the bathroom floor the other day as well and not a mark on it! I blame Trump for this ****. It was only a light press as well as I was trying to walk around the table, the damage is just ridiculous. I dropped a Nokia Lumia from a 5th floor onto paving slabs once and that was damaged less than this.

I've actually been looking at screen protectors past few days too, no way am I paying £200 to repair or claiming on home insurance.
