**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

The same speed as QC2.0 which is what the S7 uses for wired fast charging. Both are rated at 15W. Previous fast wireless chargers are rated at 10W, so an hour behind wired fast charging.

I've bought a ELEPHAS Fast Wireless Charger 2 Coils Qi Wireless Quick Charging Stand from the river

It's faster than the "standard wireless" but I reckon possibly 10% slower than QC2.0 on cable.

I noticed the browser was updated as well, looks to have the styling from the Nougat ROM. I can't say I've noticed all that much difference otherwise. The little button to go back to the top is a nice touch when it decides to appear.

Looks like Belkin are first to the market with a 15W Qi charging pad. No surprise at the price given it's a Belkin. Gonna get one in I think.

Considering I've measured the wired fast charge current at 12W, I expect the 15W Qi to be the same speed at charging, so saving an hour over existing fast wireless.

You ever thought of setting up some sort of tech YouTube channel reviewing these things?

I've noticed it only appears on long pages, doesn't appear where minimum scrolling is needed.

I smashed my iPhone 6 last night, so I need a new phone. The iPhone 7 just doesn't interest me at all, therefore the logical step is to move over to the S7. Has anyone else moved from iOS > Android and if so, do you regret it?

My phone history is:

HTC Desire
iPhone 5
iPhone 6

It's been a long time since I last used an Android device. I have a MacBook so obviously I'll lose the inter connectivity, but then realistically the only native iPhone feature I use is FaceTime (but I can still use my MBP for that).

As long as you are not too heavily invested into the Apple ecosystem I don't think you will have an issue.

I'm able to use my S7 Edge & MacBook Pro just fine in conjunction.

Having said that though, slowly starting to get bored and frustrated with Android in general!

Why are you getting bored with it?

I do like how simple iOS is, but moving from a 6 to 7 won't really feel like an upgrade.

There are loads of Apple features I don't use - Siri, ApplePay and AirDrop are all perfect examples. So realistically I'm not actually going to miss much.

I've held an S7 Edge and it feels like a premium product to me, I just fancy trying something different. You get a 14 day grace period with upgrades right? I guess I could send it back if I don't like it at all.

I think I'm coming to that point where I prefer a simple AIO solution (like the apple ecosystem).

I've had all the Samsung flagships since the S2, and the main reason I've stuck with Samsung is they are the leaders in screen quality/camera/battery performance in my opinion, however I think that novelty is slowly wearing off after all these years of ownership.

14 day period is correct, give it a try and see what you think :)
