Looking to replace my phone that's on its last legs, is the s7 still worth getting? Or would it be wise to wait a few months more?
I'd wait it out a few months, S7 prices should start dropping.

So then, what happened to Android 7.1?
Damn, luckily I don't use AOD, so can wait until new phone.
I wouldn't choose the Edge again. The Edge panels offer nothing for me, but the amount of times it has registered a false touch when I'm holding the phone in landscape orientation makes me want to throw it.
My thoughts exactly. The edge is not being used, and its annoying when holding the phone in one hand as it registers the grip as a touch.. Only good for 1) the additional battery 2) it looks nicer.
For some reason my fast charge seems to have stopped working. Nothing has changed with the charger. Looking at the settings soon as I take the charger out fast charge becomes enabled.
Anyone any ideas?
Having seen the Nokia 8 specs and quick videos of it, I think I may sack off the S8 idea and go for the Nokia 8.
- Snapdragon 835
- 6GB RAM
- 128GB + SD card
- OIS+EIS 3.0 24MP camera
- Nokia TANK build quality that we have been used to from old skool Nokias (HMD = the same guys who ran the Nokia of old anyway, and Nokia have board level decision making at HMD)
The things I want to see confirmed before I decide are:
- IPX rating
- Fast wireless charging
- Theme engine to be able to install a Material theme like I have on the S7
If you're a beta member, now. If not the 17th I think. When are they rolling it out officially?
