**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

Amazon although the official wireless charger is bananas money so I'd suggest going elsewhere for that. Deffo going non-edge here, I get zero use out of the edge aspect of it but for those that do, it's a nice touch.

I had an S6 Edge and while the edge was amazing in terms of the screen and design I just didn't use it's features...now it's bigger it's become an easy decision for me to go with the S7 normally.

Does anyone know of any model from anyone on sale now that is Qi V1.2 compliant? i.e. Gives the full 15W output, I know its fairly new but the samsung fast charge models are only 10w and v1.1 compatible.

Seem the brand new ones are only in the US at the moment (from my quick search of the net)

Ok just got off the phone with EE for my upgrade...

Happy days.

Great deal!
If I could get that deal I would definitely go for it. I called EE telesales but they couldn't/wouldn't offer anything better than £49.99 upfront + £49.99 a month for a paltry 10Gb/month.

I guess they don't want new business. Oh well. I'm not desperate enough to sign up for uncompetitive deal.

Think I might get one of these too, the 6P would still be my preference for the FF speakers, build/design + stock android but unfortunately it is just too big :( I can't be bothered waiting until October/November for the next nexus(s) only to probably have the main device be too big or/and the less impressive smaller version again....

If I do get one, I'll probably stick with the normal S7, edge looks epic but imo it is a gimmick and not worth the extra cost + too big for my liking.

My thoughts exactly. Expect I will get the Edge as its almost comparable screen size in a much smaller body.

But how about just for the lovely look, not bothered about its features just think it looks nice. Or did you find that quickly went away once the novelty wore off?

My tariff is with 30% F&F discount. Like you I would have walked if it was a lot more.

I like the sound of the Wallet case

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Wallet Case

Slim Case
This case replaces the original back cover of your Galaxy S7 edge, clipping onto the back of your device without adding any bulk,
and then folds over the front when not in use.
This means the screen is protected from harm without the added thickness and weight normally associated with flip cases.

Oh don't get me wrong if, if the Edge was the same size again as the S7 then I would possibly be tempted by it...but yeah the novelty did wear off.

Is everyone getting their's early? I pre-ordered from Three and will get it on the 8th. I don't get the Gear vr which is very annoying. Does anyone know if the Gear vr works with PC games or is it just an Android thing like google cardboard?

Do a quick Google, read a review and educate yourself? No excuse for not doing so really.

I'm joining the Club S7 too and have gone for the Spigen Hybrid case which looks pretty cool, I was tempted by an Edge but I think it'll just be too big for me. I'm currently using an S4 mini so I hope the jump up will be big.
I'm with O2 Business so not the best of tariffs but I have a couple of other ones with them which are ok plus I get the free Jabra Pulse headset which is worth £149, yeah of course it is.
Don't Stop Movin
