Looks like we may see a Continuum style Android workspace extension in the S8.

Poor Microsoft, always scoffed at but time after time their ideas are used by others years later.

Well no not really. Android extended workspaces existed years ago in failed attempts by a couple of OEMs (Asus etc). Failed mostly due to poor implementation and OS limitations.

We now have the hardware and OS performance for it to work seamlessly on Android is all and consumers havesmart displays etc to output to whereas continuum was primarily aimed at the business end of the market as opposed to consumers.

Seems really stupid and out of place to have the Samsung logo at the bottom of the phone, just keep it at the top or put it on the back. Actually yeah, on the back would be better!

Yep, also the bezel proportion at the top and bottom looks very strange, much smaller on the bottom.

I think thats the angle / reflection on the bottom bezel which is giving you that impression. They look the same to me.
Other than the colour I think it looks good. Curved phone = comfort! no idea why people are so obsessed with angular corners but each to their own

Nobody is asking for full on sharp corners.

Note 7 nailed the curves IMO.

+1 and I preferred the curvature on the screen edges on the Note 7 vs S7E

The dongle would merely add a few extra cm to the length of your headphone cable, just leave it attached all the time surely so if you're carrying your headphones, you're by relation also carrying the dongle as it's attached.

The problem with that is it's a rigid few extra cm sticking out of the bottom of your phone, attached by a (relatively) delicate USB plug. That's just asking to be bent/snapped if you carry your phone in your pocket whilst listening to music.

Looks like the s7 edge will be my last Samsung phone if they're dropping the headphone jack
