**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ Thread ****

The back looks lop-sided to me. Centre the camera and logo and have the flash further off to the side.

Cracking looking device though, if it was feasible (I'm not saying it's not, but obviously there's a lot more to it than what a phone would ideally look like).

If Samsung drop the headphone jack, expect all other manufacturers to follow suit in the Android market.

Which will save me a lot of money as I'll be keeping my S7 for a very long time :p

Also, those dual cameras appear to be the wrong way round, unless they're trying to encourage people to take photos in *shudder* portrait mode?

I'm the same as you on that one, hoping the S7 lasts me a couple of years atleast still :P

It doesn't matter what way round they are, some phones have them top and bottom, some have them side by side. It's down to the software to handle the placement

Surely if they're top and bottom it's not going to get a proper stereoscopic image?

Fire from 1 speaker in portrait mode. When in landscape OS/Kernel enables both for stereo imaging. Or simply, use both at all times - I don't imagine it makes a huge difference for what is still mobile phone speakers.

Looks like we might see the S8 in small numbers in Feb/March ahead of mass production. Some sites are saying sources have confirmed this.

Samsung is also ordering manufacturer of 60 million S8 phones as that's what they are expecting to shift. The S7 sold some 45 million units.

I guess the S8 will have some cool new toys on-board in order to warrant such a big production jump over the previous model.
