The official Samsung one is pretty good, if not a bit of a fingerprint magnet, I also like the Spigen Air Cushion, which isn't a fingerprint magnet.

Official Samsung for me and Dad has the Spigen Thin Fit.

Both great cases. Official Samsung one is hardly visible on a black S8

how are Carphone Warehouse with returns? Go in store or over phone?

The glue that sticks my screen down seems to be not so sticky, when it gets warm and i press the screen i can hear the glue losing adhesion to the screen. Cant feel it being loose but can hear it happening.
 
As of tonight my LED notification led has stopped working!
I have gone to the *#0*# debug menu from the dailer and used the LED test and the notification led doesn't light up.

If it's faulty it'll go for repair.

Within 14 days, they'll exchange it.
 
I got a Gear VR 2 earlier in the year. It's the one that was released for the Note 7? Quality is good enough but how it compares to a dedicated one such as the HTC or Sony I don't know. I used it a little with an S7 and have recently tried it with my S8. What game/app is worth a look?

We have a sheepdog pup at the moment and he's in and out the house. Trouble is when I wear the VR goggles he takes it at an opportunity to attack me or steal something he shouldn't have :D
 
Help out a phone noob. I have been using company phone up until now, moving from a Note Edge 4 to an S8+.

1.) So the S8+, is there a plan that seems to be good? Popular with people? I actually don't need that much.
2.) I could just buy the phone and then do giffgaff but looking at general plans they seem to be £30-40 for 24 months, so £300 over the value of the phone, which I don't feel is too bad.
3.) Is there a monthly insurance that is favoured by people?
4.) It's £724 on Amazon without SIM, any better deals out there?

Quicker if you can go to a Samsung Service Centre.

This is what I dislike, lack of quick support. I love the fact that I can walk into an Apple Store and get an instant replacement or fix depending on the issue. Granted you need an appointment or there's a bit of a wait but it's better than waiting for 7 days.
 
I'm after the S8 for a family member. Are there any issues to consider with the Italian versions? What updates will they receive? Etc? Thanks.
 
I just noticed my power button is a bit stiff and not as clicky as the bixby button and the volume up and down buttons. Im nitpicking here but just want to know if this is normal?

Biggest thing i've noticed is 6-7 months later it's almost half the SoT.

Having said that, Samsung have said the S8 battery is much more resistant than before, so hopefully this is true.
