Return button? :confused: back button should be on the left not right but Samsung will Samsung.
 
Ok, I was being deliberately flippant there - but there is a sense of logic to having the back button on the left which most software and hardware companies seem to be happy with. Giving people the option to choose for themselves is fine, but if you're not going to let people choose at least put it where people expect it to be.

Yes but what about those who have used a few Samsung devices and find it weird on other phones now? I've had this experience with the OP3 and other Android manufacturers and I expected it to be the other way round.

It's just one of those things that people get accustomed to, I highly doubt people find it a deal breaker, if they do I'd be quite shocked.
 
The OP3 has an option to swap the buttons around, I think I've seen some other devices (LG and Sony) give the option to swap them around too. But it goes beyond just android; other phones, even Apple, have it on the left. Same place as the back button in your web browser. Even the arrow points to the left :p
 
You can just install the pixel/nougat icons and the Material theme anyway (without any third party apps or launchers). Stock themes are no longer an issue with the big OEMs.
