It does look weird, but i think that might be exaggerated because of the 'edge' curve. I'll have to see it IRL before i buy.

I've been waiting for the S8 to replace my S6e, my contract is up in July anyway but i'll probably buy the S8 without a contract as i'll take it to NZ in November. Or, do i go for a cheap contract on three as i can use it within my contract in NZ anyway, hmm, decisions, decisions.

You'd be stuck on 3g in Nz with a UK 3 contract though?

I've been over there twice with my current '3' phone, i had no speed issues, most places i'd use wifi anyway. I currently live in an area where i'm lucky to even get a signal so 3G would be a step up for me in NZ

Ive had my note 4 for just over 2 years, i was planning on upgrading to the note 7 but that didn't go so well so this is my next choice. Will prob get the larger size.

I'm a saddo and have just drawn a measured outline of the phones dimensions on a piece of paper. The S8+ is actually not that much longer than my S7 edge, only a few mm in it. It is quite a bit wider though. The screen will appear massive on it. The standard S8 is smaller then the S7 edge but the screen will appear to be quite a bit larger.

Design wise the S8 looks pretty meh to me. Not a fan of the edge either. I hope oneplus get their camera on point this year. Pixel 2 is too far away.

I'm still rocking my Nexus 6 as my main squeeze. I'm delighted how well its holding up.
