I don't think battery will be worse than s7 is. You get bigger screen but more efficient cpu/gpu which will use less power to do same stuff. There was a test on YouTube showing 6hr+ on screen time with heavy use and still having some juice left.

let me know if the do match - i'm up for a renewal but put off by the monthly cost.Wasn't going to get the S8 but the GPS on my S6 Edge+ has gone haywire following a spillage incident. Don't really want to switch from EE but the prices look a bit of a joke compared to what Vodafone have on offer, going to give them a call and see if they can match it.
