Not at all, looks and feels like a premium product in every inch of it. Much more refined than both s7s but then agan it's a personal opinion.

Loving this case by VRS design. Will get one for my S8 Plus
Case looks a bit meh to me, at least it looks better than the official Samsung ones LOL.
The Bixby button can be remapped using a third party app. Good news for those wanting to use Google Assistant instead.
I've now switched to all Google apps on the S7e (Calendar, SMS, Fit etc), so it's kind of annoying having duplicate Samsung apps that do exactly the same thing.

My order has moved to "Order is being verified" with Smartphone Company

Hoping it goes through OK as the person on the phone made a mr/mrs mistake and a 1 character spelling mistake on my middle name. I called and emailed about it and apparently the Mr/Mrs has been sorted and there is a note on the account about the middle name spelling
Also they said about the "8 days early", they're hoping to get them 8 days early and it should extend to all orders not just new ones

If I buy the phone from carphone warehouse, will it be unlocked and lock to the first sim put in the device!
Yes it will be unlocked and no it won't lock once a SIM is inserted.
I shall be ordering an S8+ tomorrow, will give Three a cal first to see if they can offer anything other than whats on the website in the forms of a contract. A loyal customer for 6 years prob counts for nothing though.

Excitement is building lolI've attempted to crash s8 today at CPW, or at least try to slow it down by opening every single app on the system and almost 60 browser tabs with at least 10 4k video loading on some pages and 4k hdr youtube clip playing. Didn't seem to affect it at, still showed 800mb ram left and 0 slowdowns, switching randomly between pages and apps was as swift as I could move my fingers.
I know nougat is probably closing things down on its own when not in used but nevertheless, my note4 would have exploded if I tried doing the same, so looks like a worthy uparade.
And oh god HDR vids look sweet on it, as good as my 4k 10 bit HDR samsung telly.

Played with an s8 and plus in the Samsung store today, did almost think I should've ordered an s8+ until I tried it in my trouser pocket and it stuck out the top

Also had a play on both models today for the first time. The s8 plus felt and looked abnormally long imo, the normal S8 seemed to look better. Before today I was certain I'd prefer the plus model but now I'm not sure which I'd go for.
PS. I'd fire whoever designed those cases, and also shoot them.

I got a text from EE today saying I will receive within 20 days, my brother also told me that carphone warehouse and EE will be sending out the phones earlier than the 20th so fingers crossed.
