Yeah I quite liked the idea of being able to see the glossy back of the phonehmm, I was going to go for that punkcase to lose the wallet, but might just go for something transparent...
Many of these shops usually have dummy phones in the back so you can get a feel of the phone, ask for a dummyI tried to have a go of both phones in a Three shop and a CPW. The trouble was, the phones were locked down and held in those metal clamps they use to (quite rightly) stop people nicking them. It meant that I could see the screen, but couldn't test the feel of the phones in my hand, nor see how easy they were to operate with one or two hands. Also the phones in neither place were properly set up and you could do almost nothing apart from stare at the screen. They also seemed strangely sluggish (I had a try on a Pixel and that was lightning fast in comparison), but I'm sure this was down to how they'd been set up. It was a really bad way of advertising a premium product. I'm sure they'd be easier to view in a Samsung shop, but I couldn't find one in the time I had available. One thing's for sure, the screens make the 5.5" on my 6s+ look extremely dated in comparison.
I've been checking the smartphonecompany offers and I'm certain they've reduced the sS8+ cashback twice now on the 30Gb Vodafone contract - down from £240 to £180 yesterday and now £120 today. You can tell they've done it, because they've not updated the little graphic next to it which proudly proclaims "Save £10 per month", which would have made it originally £38, but is now £43 per month (saving only a fiver). They've probably a had a lot of interest in the offer and stuck their prices up accordingly.

No idea why anyone would hide a state of the art phone in a naff plastic case seems ludicrous to me.
I always just use a leather pouch to protect it in my pocket, then use the phone naked. My phones are always immaculate when i sell them on.
What the LOL is that?! Pahahaaaaaa
I do quite like this however...

But not at £35!
I've bought a clear Spigen case and will hold out for what I really want (which is a Beyzacases/Torro leather pouch style case)
Yeah I imagine there is some sort of queue. If I'm correct you ordered a couple of days after me? So I expect it to move along in the next couple of days
I never used a case....
Then I dropped my z3 and I had a bad time.
In all the years of owning phones, i have never managed to drop one. Maybe i have been lucky
There. You've gone and said it now
SD for US, Exynos for everyone else, this is partly due to the frequency band used in America... much like their weight measurementsI may have missed this, have we had confirmation on if the version we get is SD or Exynos?
What about this?
(Note I know it is an s7 image, the company is waiting for updated images, use your imagination)
They only have pre release versions so all on beta software etc, not the final product - they've all only had it for mostly few days to a week as well at most. I'm not sure what reviews are you looking for exactly? There are app loading comparisons, benchmarks and other stuff, there are reviews talking about UI? Bixby is not available on pre release so obviously that's not reviewedDoes anyone know why there are no full reviews of the phone out yet? There seem to be plenty of journalists with them in their hands, lots of 'first impressions' and lots of youtube videos, but no proper reviews. Is this a Samsung-imposed restriction? I can't believe no one has managed to bang out an in-depth review for one of the major review sites yet.
