Torn between the s8 and the plus. Currently got a lg G4 so the s8 has a bigger screen but slightly smaller in size but the plus is only a little bigger than the lg but huge screen.

Personally I would go (and have gone) for the standard S8

Yes the plus is only a bit bigger than your LG, but based on the fact the height is almost all screen... I find it a bit of an overly long screen for no real reason due to the 18.5:9 (I think?) aspect ratio

Personally not a fan of that sorry... The leather on it looks a bit cheap and doesn't have a nice 'grain' to it

I picked this up the other day on Amazon for £9.99 and quite like it... BUT I am not sure on their claim of genuine leather... It is nice, but has no typical leather smell to it whatsoever so I'm unsure if it is genuine

Anyone not bad still... My overall plan is to probably keep this and get a beyzacases or Torro cases product when they're released for the S8
 
I think the one you've posted looks considerably less real :D I'd have to see it in the flesh but the fact it's full grain and not corrected, plus the reviews of the iPhone versions make me think that it should be extremely nice leather.

I'd love an Aspinal case but they're still iPhone only :(
 
Ha :D I guess it is the 'smooth' look of the one you posted that I don't like... although that doesn't necessarily mean it isn't good leather

The S8+ seems to be quite popular due to only being slightly bigger and larger battery. I personally don't need such a large screen and rather have a smaller device. So I wasn't go to pay £100 for an extra 500mAh battery.

I'm not a case user but bought a clear TPU case on the Bay for 99p delivered for them just incase case moments.

I think your both correct. The extra battery would be useful but likely to be little difference between both in battery life due to Screen sizes. I think if I'm honest I'm considering the plus as I want the top phone but in reality all I need is the s8. The slight reduction is size with the s8 would be good to fit in my pocket and so forth but still have the benefit of the bigger screen than I have now,
 
Anyone getting the official Samsung Galaxy S8 clear view stand cover?.

Brought the s6 clear view cover case for the s6 and it ended up scratching my screen.

On a slightly related note, without going off-topic, I did buy this earlier:

Had it professionally applied by the manufacturer at Gadget Show Live 2016 on my S6 Edge and was suitably impressed :)
 
So I just called to check with Vodafone and apparently NO orders for the S8 in Black or Gray are getting delivered till the 28th!!

Repeat I got told that due to stock issues NO customers are getting the S8 next week, only the S8+ orders will get it 8 days early.

I'll be calling back to get my £30 up front cost refunded among other things as they are not emailing or calling customers!!
 
Might jump to Voda as I have F&F code now via work, can I use it to get bigger price drop if they do silly offers on the S8 like they recently did?

I think after having it on the S6 Edge I wouldn't be able to go back to a normal 'thick' glass or plastic screen protector. The invisible look is simply unbeatable :D

Some say it is snake oil, but for £9 it can't do any harm... and I think legally they wouldn't be able to just get away with selling wet wipes lol. I was given some confidence when the guy at gadget show passed me his phone and a bunch of keys :D He was also very clued up on the chemical make up of the product so I believe in it ha
