cba to look through that whole lot tbh.
If mine has the inferior panel it will be going straight back.
Bin Boy said:overclockers dont want to know about model numbers etc, if you ordered the samsung that is what will be shipped to you, nice helpful "like walking in to a shop up the town attitude".
Would be so much different if i was to walk in to the shop.
bless them.

I was so looking forward to sitting staring at one of these and now not so sure... Price going up, non available and not even sure if it would be a Samsung that I got. Well I only work like 2 mins down the road so I guess I will have to pop in to look at the model number on the back when they come into stock again....
Stu said:Has anyone heard anything substantial about the 226BA (assuming it actually exists)?
Stu said:Just to clarify my question, you realise that I'm talking about model, not panel manufacturer.
I believe that the 226BA is the same as the 226BW with the addition of an HDMI input, though I have no evidence other than word of mouth.
another site said:Stu, it's NOT a Samsung, but an LG and the name is LG L226WA. I found the answer below on an other thread and it's as follows:
"You can check out the Canadian chain store, (also owned by Best Buy), site at ????????????????? for the differences between the L226WA and the L226WT.
Basically it looks like four inputs for the L226WA model: VGA, Component, DVI-D and HDMI. Supposedly the WA is the 2ms model, and the WT is the 5ms model, and the WA is manufactured in Korea, and the WT is manufactured in China. Do not know if that means different panels or not. Those are the differences listed on the labels on all the boxes that I saw in-store. Looks like there are black and silver versions for both. The DVI-D cable also comes included with the WA model."
In spite of this, I found info about the monitor only on German and Chinese sites when you plug LG L226WA into Google. I think I also saw some scant description on LG's of Philips' site (one of the two). Sorry for the mistake that it was a Samsung.

Omnicron said:The date was stated as 28-02-07 when i ordered mine and it now simply says Pre-Order.
For those of us that place the order prior does that date still apply or has it now changed to a non existant date for everyone who ordered ?
Not nice to have the money taken from your bank, be told a date which is far away (at the time) and then for that date to vanish and not be sure when they are ever going to send it.
only moaning because id of liked to sell my previous monitor before getting this to help fund it, although that would leave me without a monitor as its not known when they will even have this... Slight pain
Just a rough date would be good.
