Listening in now to Dublin tower, they sound pretty chilled, don’t know who's who, they all talk really quick haha. :eek:

Just tuned into Shannon Appr, its quiet as hell. Somebody sleeping I think :p

Edit: The more I listen the more I want to get on Vatsim ASAP :)

So here's my flight plan from last night:-

Cork to Jersey
VAPA1N VAPAL L175 BANBA STU AMMAN BCN N864 BHD N862 SKERY JSY1N

Cork Twr and Shannon Control were online. I was in 'unicom' over Wales and heading down south over Brecon. Brest Control :D:D was online, but I was out of their control through my descent.

I was flying as 'gow369'. or the Indian airline 'Go Air' - albeit with the TAP Portugal livery :o.

My frame rates were atrociousness last night, but here's a pic:-

Hi gents,

Managed to get the new system up and running. However after installing acceleration I keep getting an error that my dx is the wrong version and flightsim won't load. Any ideas? I've installed FSX in its own directory as per advice to keep it clear of the program files tree.

Hi Ringo,

I've tried the 9.0c redist and windows update but no joy. The old Microsoft.com/directx just takes me to games for windows now. Any ideas where to look? I've been messing about all morning trying to sort it. Works fine after the FSX install but Acceleration just kills it.

What OS are you running? Have you used the 'windows update' to patch it to the max.

Also I can be online for a few hours later for flyin' .. say 7.30pm - 9.30pm?
 
Hi mate,

Win7 home premium 64. I've just installed the Os again so starting fresh, I keep hitting check for updates and there's Nowt left to get. Before I try installing FSX again what nvidia drivers are you guys using? I've a 670.
