Do you use email with the phone at all? What's the functioning like? Does it come straight into your inbox/what's the set up like with regards to how often it checks your mailbox etc?

Hi Mate,

Yes, I’ve set this up with my personal email account. It’s very quick and efficient and it’s just like a mini outlook really. The setup is no different really from setting up outlook to be honest. It’s up to you how often you can set it to check for mail. One function I do like with the email is it comes in a text version with the original HTML attached. If not tried it with Exchange yet, so I cant comment on that yet.

I hope this helps.

How are you getting on with the phone mate? Has the sim arrived ? :D

Hi Andy, the phone is great. Its so easy typing out txt msgs. Especially using both thumbs. I'd say its better than the iPod Touch for typing.

I emailed Vodafone and they said that a new Sim card is on its way in the post. I'm going to put a video on it and see how it plays.

I'm liking that it plays a whole range of music file types for ringtones instead of just .mp3 :D

Just need to install the sony pc suite.

seem as it seems to be going down well, I've ordered one today, will/should be with me tomorrow.
free phone, £25pm (24m) unlimited text and internet free months insurance and a month of a sat nav thingy.
If it no good it all your fault ;)

Any way to get, say, Radio 1 on this, can you stream it via the browser or is there some functionality?

Radio works with the handsfree cable that acts as the ariel. Unless you conect it via the browser and stream. That would depend on the browser plugin's supporting the streaming format.

Got mine Wednesday, pretty happy with it.
The screen is a treat, the qwerty thing works well and the camera is as good as ive seen on a phone.
Only issues really are with symbian since Im used to WM6. It seems really restrictive in what you can change. I want a media player for different vid formats but the only decent one seems to be coreplayer and thats $30. On WM6 there were loads of freeware ones. The lack of 3.5mm jack is poor but no major issue since theres an adapter.

I believe their are a number of new services launching at the end of the month and this includes Voda 360 i think.

Its well worth the wait for the handset :D

Is it just me, or is the screen on the Satio a little "dull"?....maybe "dark" is a better word.

I was comparing it instore to my N95 today, and the screen on the N95 just seems so much brighter and clearer/easier to read, there was really no contest in it. Any thoughts/opinions?
