I still love the jankyness of some of the combat in this game, watching enemies fly around when you shoot their jetpack or get naded is so satisfying haha! There's no limbs flying like FO but im sure a modder will add that shortly :cry: to scratch that itch.

I won't be spending too long ship building and this is partly the reason. I so far upgraded one part of my ship and saving up to buy one which is much better.

Who knows though, maybe I will do it later on. Depends on how it goes and if the game has legs once you complete it. Some say it does. We shall see.

I went the opposite cos i really wanted to enjoy space combat so i rebuilt my entire ship from scratch having saved up enough to do it. Recoloured it and added enough weaponry to start a galactic war. It's still fun, don't get me wrong i still find the space combat somewhat enjoyable especially being able to board other ships, gives it that much more depth. I just wish there was more you could do in and with your ship.

Didn't know you could board other ships. Nice. I have hardly spent time in space. Just destroyed a handful of ships, that's it so far.

You need the targeting talent / perk so you can lock onto ship parts, blow up their engine and then you can board them / kill all of them and take their ship to either sell or use as your own.

There's a repeating station on planet maps that always has an enemy behind a closed locked door. You can basically shoot or hack at them when they half poke out, they can shoot back as well, kinda funny

As Glanza said, make sure you're targeting the engines so you need to get up behind them. A few well placed shots is enough to take out the engines on most ships i've found.

They do recover though, so there's a limited window to board once they're dead in the water. It doesn't stop them from firing at you, so might be wise to take out some weapons too.

I agree with you to an extend, the game isn't ugly but some of the textures are really questionable when you look at them up close. It really doesn't warrant the low fps in this game, it should be much higher than it is.
