***The Official Starfield Thread*** (As endorsed by TNA)

Might be OK on this end then if the main ones I want to use work, as long as the game plays OK I'm not that likely to replay it or mod it once I've played through it once.
I thought this about FO3, FONV, Skyrim, FO4 then Skrim SE. Ehh I probably knew what i was in for when I got to FO4 tbh. You never know what might come out tbh, like Enderal

I liked FO3 and completed it, FONV I couldn't get in to, FO4 I never finished, not even sure on Skyrim tbh!

It's pretty rare for me to replay a game no matter what mods get added, instead I'll just do main story + as much side stuff as I can stomach on my 1st playthrough, by all accounts this game is going to be fairly long.

I probably won't beeline the main stuff here if the side content is good, I'll be off exploring or whatever :)

Will replay Cyberpunk with the new DLSS stuff later in the month as well, so mainly looking for a good solid 1-2 months out of Starfield if I can!

Am i the only one who hasn't really started the Constellation main quest line yet? I got to meet the UC contact with Sarah and left it at that before i side tracked onto and endless amount of side quests. I'm about 25 hours in and that's all i've been doing lol.

That pretty similar to me, I tend to do the main campaign in a game, with side stuff along the way and then once the main campaign is done I rarely return to the game until more story is added. Some games I will try to 100% but even then I often find that once I have finished the main story I start to lose interest and other upcoming titles attract my attention instead

Finally someone else who doesn't like NV! I loved FO3/4, Skyrim was a let down, especially the ending.

Most people are just getting on and enjoying the game, nothing to be gained from engaging people getting rage-boners on about framerates.

Runs great, looks great on my 4070. Game is ace. Probably the only game I'm gonna play for the next year

I mean for most people there’s more to a game than textures, thank goodness. The best thing I ever did was to stop noticing or caring about such things. Each to their own though. Looks ace to me, I’m more about the world(s) design that I absolutely adore.

I was working on two or three sidequests, one Constellation one, but the last Constellation mission I did opened up a whole new line of options that I'm gonna carry on following that unless I hit a difficulty wall.

Also heard this time around after the main quest you can put your character into a new game plus.

Same, i rather enjoy the game for what it is than look for every imperfection and then go on a rant about it on social media. Thankfully most of us in here are just playing the game for what it is and enjoying this masterpiece!

Hmmm might have to go into this with abit more depth then. I got side tracked so badly that im quite immersed into it. Some of these side quests are so long, it feels like its part of the main story lol but its not.

Yeah I will play a lot and get the most out of the game as long as it's holding my interest.

I do the same with tv shows/movies, rarely rewatch those even if I liked them, there's always stuff coming along that I could be watching instead.

@Nexus18 :cry:

Does not work on gamepass. Lol

Which mod?

The ones I am using so far all do work:

- fov
- dlss
- natural lut
- auto hdr (Well not a game mod but a work around on windows)

Although yeah there will be some mods which will not work on gamepass, I have seen a few so far but wasn't interested in using them anyway.

Speaking of the smooth menu/hud one, not tried myself but seen a few posts saying people are having crashes, is this so?

Any UI/inventory mods yet, current one is bloody awful to use.

My experiences with RPGs is that I enjoy them for a bit and burn out, and then every now and then I start it again. I've never actually completed the main story line in Skyrim, and yet the most recent time I played it I was still discovering stuff I'd not done in other locations which was nice.
Enderal is a bit of a curve ball I threw at you - it is its own game done on the Skyrim engine. Literally nothing to do with skyrim at all, except using the game engine. I don't think there's something similar from the Fallout games, but with Starfield I feel that someone might decide to do something. Hence the Script Extender can be pretty important. I'd try not to rule it out if can, I'd be tempted to get Starfield on the windows store if it supports play anywhere, but if it doesn't support SFSE then that'd be an instant no.
