Are the worlds all the same then it's just random which ones you get to visit? Or are they also randomly generated, so everyone's play through will be different?
Thought my game had bugged out big time, couldnt speak to vladimir on the eye, no docking action came up and after shooting the hell out of it, crashing into it a thousand times and getting VERY stressed, the answer is to push A on the controller if your using one to get the hail/docking prompt to show up lol
Man that drove me mad
Just finished the ranger quest too..... Well worth it.The hand crafted main quest line planets look much better than the procedurally generated ones. This is why one minute you could be looking at great graphics and the next it can look very dated.
It’s one of those games (like Skyrim or Fallout) that is better than the sum of its parts. I have been enjoying it a lot despite its many minor flaws and missed opportunities because the other elements such as story and side quests really are top notch. I recently completed the ranger quest line and I felt pride when I became a “full ranger”. Then I was given a great reward that was better than some of the usual “here’s some random generated legendary weapon and some gold”.
Us RPG fans have been truly spoilt for choice with BG3 and now Starfield. Well apart from those who get all upset at pronouns in games.

thats great looking that Jay.
Question guys, something im not quite understanding here regarding creating outposts. I've found a great planet with a lot of great resources including legendary resources too. Is it possible to land in an area and place a beacon that is in range of all the resources listed on the planet? If I land on an area that is marked as iron then it seems impossible to get copper and aluminum in the same beacon range. I've been landing in different spots for like an hour now trying to find each resource inside the range of my beacon, but this aint happening.
Still could never get this working lol i created a new txt document, pasted the commands in it, then renamed the document StarfieldCustom.ini but it still says its a txt document? im on windows 11 and it seems different from what ive seen others do.
Does anyone know how to make a bloody ini file for starfield in windows 11 hahaha your help will be very gratefully received.
Looks like there is a nice boost for starfield nvidia gamers by enabling rebar:

Noticed any improvement?Already had mine on
Who even turns reBar off? It's one of those things that's turned on in the BIOS and always left on lol

Ah yes forgot about PI, I tried it quickly just now:Nvidia only have it turned on by a whitelist so very few games have it on even though it is turned on via bios thus the need to go via profile inspector (unless you have this globally set which probably isn't a good idea as it can cause issues at times)

Default OFF in Nvidia PI:
Forced in Nvidia PI:
- 06-09-2023, 08:33:12 Starfield.exe benchmark completed, 6052 frames rendered in 44.687 s
- Average framerate : 135.4 FPS
- Minimum framerate : 119.2 FPS
- Maximum framerate : 156.1 FPS
- 1% low framerate : 86.3 FPS
- 0.1% low framerate : 76.5 FPS
No meaningful difference which is probably why Nvidia didn't enable it in the driver with the game ready driver geared for Starfield. The OP's improvements could well be variance run difference maybe? He is using frame gen too with some optimised settings according to the post, I am using Ultra settings.

Anyone bought any of the more expensive ships yet? I bought as shieldbreaker yesterday which is much better than the Mantis I've been in for ages, plenty of firepower and almost 3000 cargo with some cargo skills unlocked.

Has anyone been to the "1-in-a-kind-salvage" location, where there's the ancient battlefield of destroyed mechs, in a post-nuclear wasteland, I thought that was awesome
