Would love to see the gamepass numbers. I know I am oneLots of people are playing on Gamepass though.
I freed a random guy from prison by opening his cell door. He walked out without a care in the world, only to get immediately killed by the prison guards.
All in a days work.
Sarah and I also have this inside joke where she tells me off for doing evil deeds.
Quite a lot I imagine, in fact, Bethesda said a few days ago that they had 1 million concurrent players, at the time, the peak on Steam was 246,000 , so for there to have been 1 million concurrent you could surmise that 754,000 of those 1 million , 3 out of every 4 players, must have been on gamepass. What that means in terms of sales of the game I dont know. I guess one could equally surmise that means that perhaps fewer people bought the game than if it had been Steam only, though equally maybe if it had been Steam only and people couldnt play it for just the sub cost of gamepass for a month some people might not have bought it anyway.Would love to see the gamepass numbers. Plus all the other games on gamepass included in that price.Look at this way. The game costs £60 to buy on Steam. Lets say the average user gets bored of the game after a year and uninstalls.
Whereas for game pass users assuming all new subscribers over the course of that 12 months the game has cost £9 per month x 12 months so £108 (80% more)
Plus all the new xbox console sales ...
Possibly, though I'd need to know the stats on how long someone would play a game like Starfield, will the average user play Starfield , every month , for a year. Or would the average user play Starfield for maybe 3 months and then be finished with it (maybe then returning in a years time to see how things have changed) and assuming that sort of average user then cancel their gamepass once they've "finished" with Starfield, then it would be 3 months at £9 per month x 3, £27. Though I suspect the business plan would be to get a new subscriber to subscribe for Starfield and then hope that even if they finish with Starfield in a couple of months they dont then cancel their sub and instead opt to keep it running because of the other titles on Gamepass, so Starfield then becomes a gateway product for Gamepass regardless of whether the player has finished with StarfieldLook at this way. Take a ship you currently own and using ship builder delete all the parts and then start from a blank slate. How do you build a ship from scratch? I might be being dim but I am only seeing the option to change parts on my current ship.
Starfield's rating continues to fall. It is now only rated 3% higher than Fallout 76.
