Hope it ain't no 1 hour. Took me almost a whole day doing just the Ryujin side quests...
All I can say is I have not done any main quests once I arrived at New Atlantis. I have been doing side quests and that has been fun.
Maybe that is your problem. Instead of going out there exploring doing whatever you fancy, you are just following the main quest
I only just got started the ranger quest. After that is done I will go do other major side quests. Those side quests are huge it seems. No rush for the main quest whatsoever.
Let us know the vram usage mrk, 24gb may not be enough soon.....
10GB will always be enough!
Jokes aside. With how fast mods are coming out for this game. I wonder what shape it will be in 2-3 years time for my next playthrough.
Will defo need more than 10GB then. Hopefully can make it work on 16?

Yeah I think 1h may be a load of ******** but might be somewhen in-between and assuming you don't loot anything, or do anything not directly related to the main quest, nada. Basically speed run.

Keef, I wish you would really stop spamming this thread.
I notice all you seem to do is have a go at people who have anything critical to say about the game and you don't add anything of value to the discussion yourself.
I was curious to see if you had posted anything about the actual game in this thread or if it was all just you moaning about others. So I took at look at your posting history in this thread.
Out of your last 200 or so posts in this thread in the last week (!!!) about 50% have been discussing computer hardware and the other 50% is you having a go at others for voicing their negative opinions about Starfield.
I couldn't find a single post out of those 200 or so posts where you actually discussed anything about the actual gameplay, story or your experiences with the game. I would invite others to have a look at Keef's posting history if you don't believe me.
You might not like what I have to say about the game but at least I am discussing the topic at hand and not just having a go at people for having a different opinion to me.
Perhaps you should take your own advice, take a little time out and touch grass for a bit. Or maybe actually play the game you profess to love so much and tell us about your experiences with it.
I already unlocked about half the achievements and was wondering what other ones there were. Saw one for getting to level 100! Nice.
Just had a look actually and an article said no level cap. I guess eventually it would get exponentially harder anyway.

The article I read about there not being a level cap also mention 40-50 hours for main story. I would be happy even if it is 20 to be honest due to the sheer amount of side content.

Apparently it’s possible to get all 7 resources in an outpost on Linnaeus IVb. Time to walk around, lots.
Linnaeus IVb between hills and crater biomes. Best place in the game. Aluminium, iron, water, helium, alkanes, beryllium, the one that begins with Y. 6 at least possible in one outpost.

So erm, I still don't know what you do with these resources. Ship building was my guess. Anything else you can do with them?

Yeah always short on alluminium, this moon does have it though in the ground so got one extractor up.
Im just messing about at the moment seeing what everything can do.

How far along are you now captain?
I am level 26 now. Could have been much higher if I just stuck to exploring and bounty hunting. You get loads of xp for destroying ships. I get less xp for a whole quest than I do destroying a single ship.

Is it worth going to each and every map location? It's a bit frustrating wondering around for an hour and finding "Unexplored biological location" , "Cave" or some such. I'm coming off the back of Death Stranding so not shy of a long shlep but the pay-off needs to be worth it.
How do I obtain research? I've not used benches but when I go to look at weapons upgrades etc I can't do anything as I don't have the research.
So far, it's OK. Navigating the maps is a pain.

I managed to plonk down about 4 extractors in this one location along with the others, so in total i think i had around 11 extractors all working. Does need a lot of solar arrays though so make sure you have resources for those, i needed 8 panels to get it all running.
Edit, if you do go there.. the Helium also powers the Fuel generators so you can extract helium and power the generator at the same time. You'll gather more Helium than what the generator needs so no need to worry about that.

StarUI 2.0 is now out and it's a good upgrade. They've changed the item type icons so they're now in colour and there's an item filter.
I'm still bouncing between the main story and side quests. Thoroughly enjoying it but the writing quality sure is bouncing all over the place.

Having good fun with this, 55 hours in and level 90, spent pretty much all my time on outposts and ships! no started any side quests or faction missions, something so enjoyable about setting up supply chains and ships coming in and out to move cargo for you! Can earn a lot of XP it seems building.
Wow! Im 50 hours in and im only level 24 lol! I've spent a lot of time exploring, ship building and doing side quests.

The outpost building is a little glitchy.
Build 3 turrets on the top of some of my structures. Took off and when I returned they have dissapeared, there are also some trees now clipping through some of my structures that were removed on building.
Whats a bit anoying about the turrets is they are still using power and counting towards my build limit even though they are nowhere to be seen.
