I don't game like that :p Hence why my level will just go up naturally. I just can't be arsed with putting energy into a system that is ultimately flawed (combat by the rules etc or "farm" xp and stuff when the systems themselves coded in aren't rewarding in the way of a challenge in terms of AI, as opposed to you losing more health from each enemy gunfire as they aren't actually being more strategic in fighting you, just their damage done is higher which is an imbalance in the system.

I was just pulling your leg as you know I like to do.

That said, the ai better be good in Cyberpunk after all this talk, because as I remember it was no better when I played it on release. Especially those cops

Been messing with outpost building quite a bit last few day, mainly to see what the game can do and whats available.

Whilst possible, I think it would be very difficult to get some kinf of factory going that produces all the high end resources.

Basically I think it will be down to the limitations set on how many A. Cargo links you can build in each outpost, but also B. How many outposts you can build in total.

The main factor is you can only build up to 3 cargo links in each outpost, each cargo link can only line to one another. So, you will need to "chain" these, as there is no way you will be able to get all the different types of resources needed to spider into one outpost, becuase at the most? each outpost is only going to be able to harvest 3? different types of resource.

You will then need to chain these, so if you start with two resource gathering outposts, these will need to feed into a "chaining" outpost, that has two incoming links (linked to the two resource gathering outposts) then one outgoing cargo link.

The outgoing cargo link could then feed into a similar "chaining" outpost that also could be supplied by a separate single incoming link, supplied by local resources, and then the forwarding link, and you chain them on like that. The idea is, if you build enough of these "chains" you'll end up with an outpost at the end of the chain that has every single resource available in the game, in which case you then build all your processors and could have that feed into large storage containers which you could then empty now and then to sell the goods.

The issue is you can only build a certain number of outposts in total, and I think you'll possibly find you run out of outposts before you can build enough like that in chains to gather every resource given how many there are. Maybe it is possible, I am not that far ahead yet but reckon it'll be tricky.

I do often get the frustration that a lot of the game is kind of locked off behind skills (which seem to take too long to progress etc).

Yup, it really is.

Im Level 48 now and the levels really do start coming more slowly. I dumped quite a few into various science things for outpost building.

I've not sunk that many points into combat feats but still regrets the lost points a little. I'm having to go out of my way a bit to get some of the other skills levelled up, especially the crafting ones. Rather than only using/making what I want; simply to unlock the higher tiers.

To be honest, I spent an hour XP farming a bit just now, it's cheesy, but for me Archimedes III (level 75) has plenty of animals running around, I have a .50cal rifle and just sneak attack everything you one hit most things.

Pretty much a license to print XP I leved in about 10 minutes and I'm level 52 now.

Mainly because some of things I want to do are locked behind skills, not aiming to unlock any buffs.

Same here - have over 200 hours in the game. Only cost me £20 before launch too.

Nice. I think I got it for £35 or something direct from steam as it was either one of those threads where someone sells you there steam credits at at discount or sells you a gift card at a discount. Something like that anyway. I like my games on steam :D
